A new EAPS faculty member was asked to discuss Purdue's recent ranking at #1 on the Top 500 list of the world's most powerful supercomputers. Incoming EAPS professor, Dan Dawson, was recently interviewed by the Infornmation Technology Department at Purdue. He discusses why supercomputers are necessary for his research in numerical modeling and in his choice to join the department.
