EAPS Professor Dr. Jay Melosh has spent several days filming with the crew from Smithsonian for a new documentary video. The documentary titled "Mass Extinction: Life at the Brink" may be viewed free through streaming video until June 30, 2016. The video discusses the 5 mass extinctions the Earth has experienced in its history, event triggers, and what may be learned of our future.
